Florida State Prepares For Ncaa Tournament

Noles Tigers Set for Top-10 Clash

The No. 1 Florida State Seminoles are set to host their NCAA Tournament regional this weekend at Dick Howser Stadium.

The Seminoles, who are the top overall seed in the tournament, will face No. 2 seed Alabama, No. 3 seed UCF, and No. 4 seed Stetson.

Florida State is coming off a record-breaking regular season in which they finished with a 55-8 record.

The Seminoles are leading the nation in hitting with a .368 team batting average and rank fifth in ERA at 3.00.

Alabama enters the regional with a 37-19 record and is ranked No. 8 in the country.

UCF is 35-21 this season and is ranked No. 21 in the country.

Stetson is 32-24 this season and is the reigning ASUN Conference Tournament Champions.

The Seminoles will open the regional on Friday night against Stetson.
